I am back with a product review and this time brought to you a new brand which I tried and that is Biotique.

Biotique has a wide range of beauty products , from haircare range to skincare. Dandruff is a common problem and one needs to find a perfect solution for it. No doubt, all brands bring their anti dandruff range but how much it really works ?

Some removes dandruff for a one day or two while some removes your hairshine along with it. Does this shampoo from Biotique is like the others or it works as it claims? Read further to know about it...

PACKAGING : It comes in a cylindrical sleek plastic container. The cap needs to get rotated in order to open it.

COLOR : The shampoo is light green in color with a creamy solution. It has a thick consistency.

FRAGRANCE : It has a mild fragrance resembles a bit with that of neem(one of its ingredients).

INGREDIENTS : Gandhak element, Neem bark, Bhringraj plant, Ritha fruit, Lotion base.


                           

WHAT IT CLAIMS : The refreshing formula eliminates the dryness, flaking and itching associated with dandruff. Special pH balanced formula is gentle enough for everyday use.

                             

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT :

🔼The natural ingredients in this shampoo are really good which gives you a faith that it will work wonders on your hairs.

🔼It is quite affordable.

🔼 The packaging is travel friendly.


WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT :

Well, for this shampoo the cons part is more than the pros ones, so here you go...

🔽It says it is anti- dandruff which has nothing to do what it claimed. It does not work even a single percent on dandruff.

🔽 It removes the softness of your hairs. Initially I thought I should use it with some conditioner but alas! The conditioner too does not work if you have washed your hairs with this shampoo.

🔽The hairs becomes a way too rough and bulky and honestly speaking when you try to comb your hairs, it becomes a difficult task to do.

🔽I gave an another try thinking may be it's the first time and my hairs needs to adjust with the shampoo. But, everytime you wash your hairs with this one, you will get the same result.

🔽 Since, the hairs becomes difficult to comb, no matter how much conditioner and hair serums you apply, it's like a tough-of-war with your hairs resulting in hair fall.

🔽 Even after you have stopped it's usage, your hairs takes time to regain it's original texture and shine.

OVERALL VERDICT

From my side, it's a big NO to this shampoo. I will never ever recommend this one to anyone as it does not work what it claims (removing dandruff) and moreover detoriate the present condition of your hairs. I have tried some other Boutique product which I will be reviewing soon and they are simply awesome. But for this shampoo of Boutique, highly disappointing.

Himalaya Tan Removal Orange Face Wash | Review

                             

Hi everyone, Himalaya has recently launched it's tan removal kit which includes a face wash, a face scrub and a peel off mask. In this post, I will be sharing my experience of using Himalaya Tan Removal Orange Face Wash. 

So as per it claims, does it really works on tan ? If it is so, then this product from Himalaya will be a favorite for everyone especially for summers. Without much delay, moving on to its review....

SHELF LIFE : 2 years

PACKAGING : The face wash comes in a plastic transparent tube with a flip flop cap. 

COLOR : As its main ingredient is orange, the face wash is too orange in color. 

FRAGRANCE : Ahh.... It smells like the orange candy and you will feel like eating it. 😂😂

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS : 

It is an effective blend of orange peel, honey and papain which visibly reduces skin tan and smoothes skin by gently removing dead skin cells. The gentle exfoliating nature of Papain helps removes tan, whereas Orange Peel improves skin tone. Honey soothes and moisture.

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT : 👍👍

🔷 Its fragrance is mind blowing and you will love while washing your face with it.

🔷 The face wash is a gel based formula and cleanses the face in one wash very easily.

🔷 The price is in your budget and I guess this is a big plus point in any Himalaya product. You can easily try out any product from this range without thinking about the cost.

🔷 It not at all dries out your face. After returning from work, I simply wash my face with this and always forget to apply something as you don't need anything.

🔷 The ingredients combination is superb and suitable for all skin tones. I have tried this in summers and feel it will work well in winters too.

🔷 It brings an instant shine on your face. 

WHAT I DONT LIKED ABOUT IT 👎👎

🔻 The tan is not removed as it claims which led bit of disappointment. I hope it may work after prolonged usage.

🔻 The consistency is same as that of the Himalaya Neem face wash, only difference is the color and fragrance. Himalaya could have done a change in its consistency.

🔻 The packaging is also very similar to the previous Himalaya face washes.

🔻 I was expecting the orange peel extracts in it which they claimed but could find any.

MY RATING : ⭐⭐⭐🌠

OVERALL VERDICT : I  would recommend you to buy this face wash from Himalaya as it is very light both on your face and pockets. If you like gel based face wash and use one to cleanse Your face instantly, this will never disappoint you. Yes, don't expect too much like tan removal in one wash or in one week. It may take more time than this.

Yes , I can say that the tan removal part will work more if used with its tan removal scrub and peel off mask. 

Aroma treasures Aloe Vera Gel Review

                           

Aloe vera is a multipurpose natural product and I must say it is a boon for the summers. Not matter you have oily skin or dry or combination skin, it works perfect for each one of them. There are various brands which have launched their Aloe vera gel .

The difference between them and the original one is that the ones available in the stores do have some other ingredients for your skin type. So you cannot completely say that anyone is good for your skin.

I have tried the aloe vera gel from Aroma treasures and it is very different product. Let's know about it more....

PRICE : ₹321 for 500 grams. There is a small pack also available . You can try your hands on that pack when it's your first time.

SHELF LIFE : 2 years

PACKAGING : It comes in a big round transparent plastic container with flat base. The quantity of the gel is clearly visible. 

COLOR : The color of the gel is beautiful grass green.

FRAGRANCE : Now coming to its part which I hate most. It has a peculiar smell. Initially I didn't like it and thought how will I use it. But thank God! It vanishes after you apply it.

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS : 

This Aloe vera is suitable for all skin types , body and hair. Highly recommended for following uses :

FACE  : Acne scars, pimples, before makeup, dry and chapped skin, razor cuts, after shaving, ageing.

HAIR : Scalp disorder, improves hair quality, styling, prevents dandruff.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE : Apply to face, hair and skin. Use 2-3 times a day for better results.

MY EXPERIENCE : 

• When you will apply it , it get absorbed easily and you will not feel heavy on your skin. 😊👍

• In winters, it dries up the skin. Mine one is oily and my skin too get dry if applied this gel in winters. So I can say not good for any skin type in winters. 😢👎

• In summers, oily and normal skin beauties can definitely try this one out but not dry skin beauties.👍👎

• It brings a shine on your skin and very good as a makeup primer.👍😊

• It does not smells that good that you will fall for it but it vanishes as soon as it's applied. 😢👎

• It is paraben free and enriched with essential oils. 😊👍

MY RATING : ⭐⭐⭐

OVERALL VERDICT : Well, I liked the aloe vera gel but will recommend to only oily skin and normal skin types. Those with the dry skin, do not try this one. I feel aloe vera gel should be such that it can be used in every season but the ones available in the market as some other ingredients as well which makes your skin dry or oily after application.

Apart from face, for hair and skin purposes, it is very good, definitely a try. I used this Aloe vera gel with coconut oil to reduce my dandruff issues.

The Face Shop Blueberry Sheet Mask | Review

                             

The Face Shop is a Korean brand and has launched it's sheet masks in India. These sheet masks are with goodness of various organic products and available for all skin type range. One can easily choose the sheet masks according to the main ingredient labelled on the pack. 

Recently, I got my hands to this Blueberry Bleuet sheet mask and I have oily skin. But is it worth it? Is it good for the other skin types or not, let us know its review.

PRICE : ₹100 per sheet mask

PACKAGING : The sheet is completely dipped in serum and folded in the waterproof paper packing. The picture of the main ingredient is clearly given on the front side. On its back side, instructions are given how to use it and how it is beneficial.

SHELF LIFE : Not mentioned

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS : 

The mask sheet with Blueberry essence replenishes skin's moisture barrier to protect it's energy and vitality and help create baby soft skin. (Drenched with emulsified moisturizing serum/ Formula without added parabens).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE : 

1. Wash face and apply toner.

2. Pull out mask and carefully place on face. 

3. Remove after 10 to 15 minutes and pat face lightly to absorb remaining essence into skin.

This way the sheet mask is folded and drenched in serum inside the pack.

The sheet mask looks like this. This is a dry one as the wet one was bit difficult to get clicked 😢

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT : 👍

• It is very easy to carry and to apply as well. You just have to cut the pack, take out the sheet mask, unfold it and apply it on your face. 

• The serum is sufficient in it. Apart from those fully absorbed in the mask, you can easily see the serum in the pack. So you can also apply it on your neck area.

• The serum is neither too thick nor too runny in consistency which makes every season suitable for its application.

• It smells very soothing with a light fragrance in it.

• It makes your skin super soft and shinning. Though this effect lasts for only 2 days.

• It evens out your skin texture and you will be able to feel it.

• It does not contain parabens.

WHAT I DONT LIKE ABOUT IT 👎

• It is written on the pack to keep it for 15 minutes but trust me, it does not work within this span of time. You need to keep it for 1 to 2 hours. That's why I prefer to use it at bedtime.

• Once a while it's application does not bring much change to your skin. You need to apply it thrice a week.

• It does not do anything for fairness purpose as we expect from serums but yes, it's a good boost for your skin.

• The pack does not mention the skin types which is a must have for any beauty product. As such, it really becomes difficult to choose by yourself which will suit your skin and which will not.

MY RATING : ⭐⭐⭐🌠

OVERALL VERDICT : Well, I was very excited to use this sheet mask but it does not stand true as I expected. I thought it must be something different than the other face masks as it contains serum.

I really appreciate the glow it brings to the skin and for that I love it and I would recommend you for this purpose. If your skin has lost that moisture and smoothness, you definitely should try this.

This Blueberry mask was good one and I think it is suitable for all skin types, mine is oily. It worked well on my oily skin means it does not lead to breakouts and pimples so yes, dry and normal skin beauties can try it out without hesitation.

Hello beautiful people out there, I hope you all are doing well. I had reviewed previously a roll on from Soulflower.biz and today I have something really interesting from this brand. It's a soap and it's ingredients are very unique and that's the reason I fall for it.

Soulflower has launched a variety of soaps with different ingredients and you can choose it according to your skin types. Well, I tried this Orange and Carrot ingredient soap because both of these suit my skin.

So no more further delays...moving on to its review.

PRICE : ₹ 200 for 150 grams

SHELF LIFE : 2 Years

APPEARANCE & COLOR : The soap is in rectangular shape and orange in color. I guess the orange colour is because of its main ingredients... Orange 🍊 and Carrot 

PACKAGING : It does not come in a paper board covering. Rather, it is packed in a transparent sheet through which the soap is clearly visible. On it, the labels are stick on .

INGREDIENTS : Fresh orange and Carrot juice, ginger powder, orange essential oil, Vitamin E, Glycerin, aqua, oils os olive, coconut, castor.

FRAGRANCE : Initially, it smells like an orange and you will feel like eating it 😊 but after application, the smell of the ginger dominates 😢

HOW TO USE IT : 

It says it is 100% vegan organic soap made from natural herbs, essential oils and vegetable oils. 

Soulflower soaps comes in large bar sizes, you need to cut how much you need, and store the rest of the soap in a dry cool place.

This way you can last your soap for a long time.

WHY THUMPS UP TO THIS 👍👍

1. It is 100 % vegan soap. It does not use any animal products like milk and honey which needs to be appreciated. Well done !

• It has Glycerin which attracts moisture to your skin making it softer and smoother.

• It lathers easily but don't expect too much from it like the normal soap provides.

• It is really good in removing dead skin and you can see it easily.

• You will fall for the fruity smell it has. The never ending fragrance is amazing.

• It removes the excess oils from the skin which means it is very good for summers. 

• Last but not the least, it not at all dries skin and the smoothness it imparts is by far the best I can get in a soap. You will not need a body lotion after its application.

WHY THUMPS DOWN TO THIS 👎

• Oh! The smell of the ginger after you start rubbing it is peculiar. The orange fragrance suddenly vanishes at that point.

• It can be bit drying if applied on face. But the oily skin beauties can go with it. 

• The shape of the soap is more like a detergent soap 😁 and has pointed ends which really takes long time to soften. So one needs to be careful.

MY RATING : ⭐⭐⭐⭐

OVERALL VERDICT : I like to try something new and it was new to me. From its color to fragrance to its ingredients to its effects, it is totally worth. Instantly you may feel like buying a soap for 200 bucks can be waste, but trust me it isn't.

I would recommend it and definitely going to try it's other soaps as well. Those who have sharp nose and cannot tolerate the orange and the ginger smell will not like it. Otherwise, it is a wonderful product.

Hello beauties, lipstick post once again, but this time I have brought to you a bunch of lipstick shades in a mini , cute tester pack. They are simply adorable but only available to those who are Amway members. But you guys don't get disheartened because I will help you out to choose the right color for you. 

So sit back with your snacks and coffee as this post may be bit lenghty and let's start with its review and swatches.

PRICE : ₹349 for this tester pack. A single lipstick costs ₹389

SHELF LIFE : 3 Years

PACKAGING : It comes in a half transparent and half opaque body covering. The lipstick is easily visible itself without removing it's cap. The stickers with the name of the lipstick shade is available on it.

FRAGRANCE : It resembles very much to that of Bournvita or some chocolate drink. One who loves chocolate would love it. It is very different from other lipsticks I can say. I have never got this fragrance in any of the lipsticks I have used till date.

Now starting with the shades. 

1. CHESTNUT

It is a nude brown shade, very good for daily wear, suitable for all skin tones. You can easily pair it up with various dresses.

2. VIOLET SHEEN 

It is a light shade mauve pink color, again good for daily wear. 

3. MAD ABOUT PINK 

A soft and supple pink, suitable for all skin tones. The best part is it enhances your lip color. 

4. WINE LUSTRE

Ahhh... The darkest shade from this range. Not exactly dark brown , not exactly maroon, it's something in between and adorable. 

5. INTENSE PINK 

The real pink we all desire to have. It is a light neon pink shade. 

6. CORAL RED 

As the name suggests, it is a cool undertone red shade, again a everyday color. Not so bright as red with a tint coral shade.

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT :- 

• The lipstick shades are very good for everyday wear. A big thumps up for office wear. I would suggest everyone who likes to wear makeup but can't because of the bright lip shades in other brands. 

• The applicator glides on smoothly and the tip is also curved which helps in easy application.

• We generally tend to skip lipstick part in our makeup if we have got chapped lips. Not to worry with these. Apply it on your chapped and dry lips, wear the color throughout the day and when you will be back home, you will not have chapped lips anymore.

• It is buttery soft and by that I don't mean the heavy thing on your lips. Not at all like the other lip balms which are sticky and your hairs gets stuck to that. It softens your lips and shine which it provides...is heaven.

• It is very light weight formula. You will forget that you have applied a lipstick.

• After having meals, the softness of the lips remains though the color bit fades away. No issue with that. You can easily reapply it anywhere without the need of a mirror because it does not stuck to your lips. So no problem of checking whether it is applied uniformly or not.

• The packaging is crystal clear. Wow! You can easily make out which color you want to pick or have picked as the cover too is transparent.

WHAT MORE : 

They have more shades from orange to pinks to mauves. I got these shades in this kit. You can get the other combo as well.

MY RATING : ⭐⭐⭐⭐

OVERALL VERDICT : I would highly recommend this lipstick range from Amway as a daily wear, for those who want a good light weight lip balm with a nice color pay off. It is combination of both a lipstick and a lip balm . The color pay and longevity matches with a lipstick and smoothness it provides to the lips works like a lip balm.

But if you are searching for ultra matte lipstick with pop up colors, you will be 

disappointed with these. 

Well, I liked it very much. My favourite is the Chestnut shade. A beautiful nude shade complimenting my skin tone, best for every dress. The other pick for me is Intense Pink. A pinky pop color something like neon pink.
