Amway Attitude Lipstick | Review

                             

Hello beauties, lipstick post once again, but this time I have brought to you a bunch of lipstick shades in a mini , cute tester pack. They are simply adorable but only available to those who are Amway members. But you guys don't get disheartened because I will help you out to choose the right color for you. 

So sit back with your snacks and coffee as this post may be bit lenghty and let's start with its review and swatches.

PRICE : ₹349 for this tester pack. A single lipstick costs ₹389

SHELF LIFE : 3 Years

PACKAGING : It comes in a half transparent and half opaque body covering. The lipstick is easily visible itself without removing it's cap. The stickers with the name of the lipstick shade is available on it.

FRAGRANCE : It resembles very much to that of Bournvita or some chocolate drink. One who loves chocolate would love it. It is very different from other lipsticks I can say. I have never got this fragrance in any of the lipsticks I have used till date.

Now starting with the shades. 

1. CHESTNUT

It is a nude brown shade, very good for daily wear, suitable for all skin tones. You can easily pair it up with various dresses.

2. VIOLET SHEEN 

It is a light shade mauve pink color, again good for daily wear. 

3. MAD ABOUT PINK 

A soft and supple pink, suitable for all skin tones. The best part is it enhances your lip color. 

4. WINE LUSTRE

Ahhh... The darkest shade from this range. Not exactly dark brown , not exactly maroon, it's something in between and adorable. 

5. INTENSE PINK 

The real pink we all desire to have. It is a light neon pink shade. 

6. CORAL RED 

As the name suggests, it is a cool undertone red shade, again a everyday color. Not so bright as red with a tint coral shade.

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT :- 

• The lipstick shades are very good for everyday wear. A big thumps up for office wear. I would suggest everyone who likes to wear makeup but can't because of the bright lip shades in other brands. 

• The applicator glides on smoothly and the tip is also curved which helps in easy application.

• We generally tend to skip lipstick part in our makeup if we have got chapped lips. Not to worry with these. Apply it on your chapped and dry lips, wear the color throughout the day and when you will be back home, you will not have chapped lips anymore.

• It is buttery soft and by that I don't mean the heavy thing on your lips. Not at all like the other lip balms which are sticky and your hairs gets stuck to that. It softens your lips and shine which it provides...is heaven.

• It is very light weight formula. You will forget that you have applied a lipstick.

• After having meals, the softness of the lips remains though the color bit fades away. No issue with that. You can easily reapply it anywhere without the need of a mirror because it does not stuck to your lips. So no problem of checking whether it is applied uniformly or not.

• The packaging is crystal clear. Wow! You can easily make out which color you want to pick or have picked as the cover too is transparent.

WHAT MORE : 

They have more shades from orange to pinks to mauves. I got these shades in this kit. You can get the other combo as well.

MY RATING : ⭐⭐⭐⭐

OVERALL VERDICT : I would highly recommend this lipstick range from Amway as a daily wear, for those who want a good light weight lip balm with a nice color pay off. It is combination of both a lipstick and a lip balm . The color pay and longevity matches with a lipstick and smoothness it provides to the lips works like a lip balm.

But if you are searching for ultra matte lipstick with pop up colors, you will be 

disappointed with these. 

Well, I liked it very much. My favourite is the Chestnut shade. A beautiful nude shade complimenting my skin tone, best for every dress. The other pick for me is Intense Pink. A pinky pop color something like neon pink.

Every girl likes the volume in their eyelashes like the dolls. But how can we get it instantly. No doubt, there are many natural ways to get long and thick eye lashes. But in order to highlight them, we definitely need a good mascara and what if it's super affordable. 

I bring to you the Maybelline Hyper Curl Volume Express Mascara. Moving on to its review.

SHELF LIFE : 36 months 

PACKAGING : It comes in a sleek tube with a black container and silver coated wand. You just need to roll that cap and your mascara wand comes along ! 

                           

MY EXPERIENCE OF USING MAYBELLINE HYPER CURL VOLUME EXPRESS MASCARA

• First of all, I would like to mention that it stands true to what it claims. Yes, it is waterproof. I applied it and after washing my face, my eye lashes were the same. It is lovely !

• It adds volume to your eyelashes without much effort. The curl can be easily noticed by you and even the people around you.

• Its not at all pricey. In this price it's difficult to get a good waterproof mascara.

• You can definitely go for the other mascaras from Maybelline but this one is best for beginners and for daily wear.

• Apart from giving volume, many mascaras do lengthens your eyelashes instantly so that it gets curled easily. This one takes time to do that. You need to apply two coats to do the same.

MY RATING : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

                       

You can see the difference in both the eyes. I have applied the mascara in my right eye only. The lashes are preety distinct, longer, darker with curl on the edges.

OVERALL VERDICT : I would highly recommend this mascara not only for beginners but for those who are searching for a waterproof mascara as well. You need to try it at least once and see the change in your lashes.

5 Ways to Use White Kajal

Nowadays, white kajal is being frequently used in makeup but earlier it was less known. Actress like Rekha has been constantly using white kajal with a black kajal lining underneath it giving the eyes , a heavenly look.

White kajal was more used by the characters playing the negative role and therefore girls do not opt it thinking that it will give a vamp look. I am going to show you a number of ways how you can use your white kajal and get magical eyes.

1. As a double liner 

 It is very much in trend. Black is always in fashion for eyes but colors have poped in. 

• Apply a lining of white kajal on your eyelids. You can do this in two ways. Either draw a thick lining of it touching the eyelashes or draw it leaving the area near the eyelashes.

                               

•         Now, apply the black liner inner to the white liner. The thickness of the black liner can vary. If you want very thin lining of white kajal, draw it thicker. If you want in equal width, draw it accordingly.        

                     

Try to keep it winged. You can use colored lenses with this eye makeup or black and white dress. 

2. As a metallic black/grey liner or eye               shadow.

• You can create smoky eyes look by blending white kajal and black liner/ kajal.
• Apply your gel liner and on top of it, the white kajal as in the previous case.
• Smudge it up gently with a brush or your little finger. 

And here it is! So simple to get this look. I wanted to keep the outer corner of the eyes look darker so I smudged there a little. You can do the same.

3. To highlight your eyebrows.

• Draw a lining above and below your eyebrows.
• Blend it with your finger or brush.

       

O yes! Your eyebrows will be highlighted instantly.

4. As a base coat for applying light shade           eye shadow.

•  Before applying any eye makeup, draw a hashtag on your eyelids.
• Smudge it properly in all directions and notice the instant shine it brings to your eyelids. 

                         

5.  To make eyes look bigger.

• When you want to go out with eyeliner on your eyes, just apply the white kajal on your lower eyelashes. It will give a cleaner eye look highlighting your dramatic liner.
• And, if you want to add something more to it, draw a thin lining of black kajal outer to the white kajal. 
• Dramatic and classy eyes are ready, same as those of Rekha.

Nail Art for Beginners

Hello beauties, how are you all? I hope, you all are doing well. Nail polishes are loved by every single girl and when it comes to nail art... a special place in every girl's heart. Today, I have come up with a very easy nail art which you can do it yourself. So, let's get started.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED : 

• 2 paper pins
• Cellotape
• Black nail paint
• Pink nail paint

STEP 1 : Paint your nails with a base coat(optional) and then with the pink nail paint. (I opted the lighter shade first).

STEP 2 : Cut the cellotape and stick it on your nails diagonally. If sticking diagonally is difficult for you, you can try with sticking it transversally or longitudinally.

STEP 3 : Apply the black nail paint on the portion which is not covered by cellotape. Remove the tape after few seconds of application. Using a cellotape gives you a fine line between the two nail paints. Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Now hold the pins from its pointed end, dip it's base in the black nail paint and tap it on the pink lining on nails. The base of the pin will give you a good dotted shape.

STEP 5 : Similarly, dip the base of another pin in pink nail paint and tap it serially near the black lining on the nails. Let it dry.

Your nails are ready! You can use any combination of nail paints as per your wish. I hope you found this nail art very easy, less time consuming and affordable. Do give a try beginners and show me how you tried this one out. 

Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 359 Review

Hello ladies, a new week has started and I hope all have passed the toughest day well. But do you want to spend the rest of the week in a boring way? Why not get sexy and bold with red lips. Yes,this time it is a red lipstick from Lakme Enrich Satins range, shade 359.

        

 PACKAGING : I got it few months back so this is an old one with maroon plastic covering.   Now, it has changed its packaging with a silvery mirror round shape covering. 

PRICE : Since because it's old one, I got it in ₹225 but now it's price has increased to ₹260 for 4.3 grams. 

SHELF LIFE : 2 years

This is how it looks on my wrist. 

What I liked about it : 

• It's a beautiful red shade which complements every skin tone. The dusky beauties will like it as it will enhance their skin color beautifully. 
• It does not dry lips at all means that you will be ever ready for your smile. 
• The color pay off is good after one time application. You can apply two coats for the real color and shine and it will not at all feel heavy on the lips. 
• It survives lighter meals and does not vanishes completely. 

What I don't like about it :

• It is not transfer proof. While having your meals or drinking coffee, it gets easily transferred to the coffee cup. 

Buy it :

• If you want a good red color lipstick from a reliable brand like Lakme. Moreover, it will not hurt your pockets (₹260 from Lakme). 
• If you don't use red shade on a daily purpose but want one for wedding occasions. 
• If you want a decent red lipstick for daytime and office wear. 

Don't buy it :

• If you are searching for a long lasting lipstick. 

My Rating : ****,  because I love the shade,  it's moisturization, travel friendly package and price.

What to do if you like this lipstick but can't help as it is not long lasting? 

• Simple, after applying it's one coat, apply any face powder on it. Rub your lips a little and then apply another coat. MAGIC***  It will stay for long without getting transferred.  Yayy... Happy me, Happy you. Party ready, food ready!
