An apple a day, keeps the doctor away ! 

Hi friends, I hope you all have listened this popular phrase since childhood and it really works. But to eat the same apple daily can be a bit boring. So why not change the way how we intake it. 

Here I have come up with a very easy, intresting dessert made with apples which is tasty as well as healthy.

Lets start with recipe.

STEP 1 : Grate the apples. You can peel the skin or leave it.

STEP 2 : Heat ghee in a pan/kadhai, add the grated apples. Saute till it changes color.

STEP 3 : Add  4 chopped almonds and 4 table spoon sugar and mix properly till the sugar melts.

STEP 4 : Once its done, keep them aside.

STEP 5 : Take 2 table spoons of custard powder in a bowl and add 1.5 cup milk. Mix properly so that no lumps are formed. Keep it aside.

STEP 6 : Heat the remaining milk and allow it to boil for 5 minutes.

STEP 7 : Lower the flame, add the custurd powder dissolved in milk slowly and keep on stirring.

STEP 8 : The milk will start thickening. Tranfer it to the prepared apple puree and stir well.

STEP 9 : Add remaining sugar and allow to boil. Add cardamom powder, raisins and chopped apples.

STEP 10 : Switch off the flame. Cool it in refrigerator. Apple kheer is ready to serve.

MY TIP : You can substitute custard powder with condensed milk or khoya

I am back with a product review and this time brought to you a new brand which I tried and that is Biotique.

Biotique has a wide range of beauty products , from haircare range to skincare. Dandruff is a common problem and one needs to find a perfect solution for it. No doubt, all brands bring their anti dandruff range but how much it really works ?

Some removes dandruff for a one day or two while some removes your hairshine along with it. Does this shampoo from Biotique is like the others or it works as it claims? Read further to know about it...

PACKAGING : It comes in a cylindrical sleek plastic container. The cap needs to get rotated in order to open it.

COLOR : The shampoo is light green in color with a creamy solution. It has a thick consistency.

FRAGRANCE : It has a mild fragrance resembles a bit with that of neem(one of its ingredients).

INGREDIENTS : Gandhak element, Neem bark, Bhringraj plant, Ritha fruit, Lotion base.


                           

WHAT IT CLAIMS : The refreshing formula eliminates the dryness, flaking and itching associated with dandruff. Special pH balanced formula is gentle enough for everyday use.

                             

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT :

🔼The natural ingredients in this shampoo are really good which gives you a faith that it will work wonders on your hairs.

🔼It is quite affordable.

🔼 The packaging is travel friendly.


WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT :

Well, for this shampoo the cons part is more than the pros ones, so here you go...

🔽It says it is anti- dandruff which has nothing to do what it claimed. It does not work even a single percent on dandruff.

🔽 It removes the softness of your hairs. Initially I thought I should use it with some conditioner but alas! The conditioner too does not work if you have washed your hairs with this shampoo.

🔽The hairs becomes a way too rough and bulky and honestly speaking when you try to comb your hairs, it becomes a difficult task to do.

🔽I gave an another try thinking may be it's the first time and my hairs needs to adjust with the shampoo. But, everytime you wash your hairs with this one, you will get the same result.

🔽 Since, the hairs becomes difficult to comb, no matter how much conditioner and hair serums you apply, it's like a tough-of-war with your hairs resulting in hair fall.

🔽 Even after you have stopped it's usage, your hairs takes time to regain it's original texture and shine.

OVERALL VERDICT

From my side, it's a big NO to this shampoo. I will never ever recommend this one to anyone as it does not work what it claims (removing dandruff) and moreover detoriate the present condition of your hairs. I have tried some other Boutique product which I will be reviewing soon and they are simply awesome. But for this shampoo of Boutique, highly disappointing.
